Have you ever woken up from a long night and felt a little bit under the weather? I know you're probably thinking if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck. For all those times when you're wrong, here are 5 key ailments that get mixed up with veisalgia(cool medical term for hangover).

Sensitivity to light

Reason 1: You just woke up and you're just a little groggy. Have a tall glass of water, and jump in the shower to take the edge off.

Reason 2: If you just got out of bed and walked outside to get the newspaper, your pupils are still the size of a watermelon. Give it a few minutes and vision will be back to normal.

Stomach Problems

Reason 1: How much pizza did you eat last night? A high fat meal is known to create contractions in the stomach, to slow or speed up your digestive tract in ways that make you feel unwell.

Reason 2: It could be a case of acid reflux. You can get acid reflux if you eat a heavy meal and then lie down immediately after. Did you go out to brunch? Also, both alcohol and fatty foods can increase the likelihood of the uncomfortable sensation.

Headache

Reason 1: You are most likely dehydrated. You probably know a headache is a common symptom of not drinking enough water, and should go away once you have some. Drinking more water in general is the first line of defense for any body ache.

Reasons 2: You may be too reliant on caffeine. Caffeine has health benefits such as antioxidants and small amounts of certain vitamins, but drink with care.

Fatigue

Reason 1: Again, has something to do with how you eat. You could make steps to eating better so you have more energy.

Reason 2: You're not leaving your work at work. Stress and anxiety can cause people to feel lack of energy in times when they should feel rested.

Trouble Concentrating

Reason 1: It's early in the day and you should eat a healthy breakfast. You could be low in crucial vitamins needed to function.

Reason 2: You're not exercising enough. Studies show that exercising actually rewires your brain as well as your physique and helps protect against Alzheimer's disease.
