So it's Mother's Day coming up in a couple weeks. I know what you're thinking: I love Mom, and because I love her so much, I want to get her the most badass gift there is! Look no further because you just found the go-to resource for Mother's Day gift ideas for Mom.
Since you've come to a bar site to look for gifts, I'm just going to assume your Mom's a drunk just like you are. You know some things don't fall far from the tree.
So most of these gift ideas are for the moms out there that like to have a drink or two. If you aren't appalled yet - then please read on!
1) The Cocktail Book
Grab one of these cocktail books and start a new family drink tradition. You're bound to find many options for whatever the special occasion might be.
2) Beer Tasting at Epic Brewery
Another option would be to take Mom to Epic Brewery lunch and beer tasting. It's a great little bench seating area with magnificent beers and pretty fine sandwiches to boot.
3) Wine Caddy for the Active Type
Here's one of my personal favorites. It's really too bad it's not Cheer's Blogger Day. Damnit! I digress... it's a fun-filled option for the mom that knows how to roll the right way.
4) A Local Beer and Cheese Plate
If there was a food dating site, this would be the match made in heaven. You won't go wrong with this choice. If you're in a fancy guy mood you can try heading up to Park City as suggested in the link.
5) Her Very Own Beer Mug
This is a lazy but a goodie choice. If she's a no fuss beer drinker like the rest of us, this might be the right choice for you. Have you considered joining the Mug Club?
6) Make Beer Bottles into Jars with String and Science
Ah a craftsmen you say? Here's one you'll like. Great for some one on one time with Mom. 7) Make a Custom Gift Box
Get a fancy looking cardboard box. Stuff the shit out of it with every nook and cranny you know will light up her day.
8) A Uber or Lyft Gift Card
Need some ideas? Take her out to Cheers to You Downtown - and nobody drives! It's win-win.
9) Pay her Way at a Cheers Pool Tournament
We love pool at Cheers. It only costs $5 and you get a spot in the tourney.
10) Take her to Wiseguys
There are two great locations in Salt Lake City. If you haven't been to the newer Gateway location, you should check it out!
