Cheers to You: “Where Professionals Drink” 

Cheers is home to some of the best and most experienced of all bartenders in town, and it shows with the clientele of seasoned barflies and drinkers who regularly belly up. Some people think of it as a dive, but that would be a misnomer for a bar that many just call home and where, literally, everybody knows your name. Sample their weekly Mind Eraser specials–with ever-changing flavor combinations–or a specialty shot like the “Alligator Bite,” and realize why this is a “professional drinkers” bar.

Sweet little bar in Salt Lake! I have been here a few times. I think the atmosphere is cozy with a unique SLC flare. They have Utah beer on tap and have liquor store beer (aka beer found in CA and other states) for $5-$6 per bottle. Shots were $2 and were poured with the drink meter (1oz.)

The new things I liked since coming here last year were:
- Eva's, next door, was serving wings and fries to the patrons! Loved it, they were delivered quickly and were delicious! 
- ladies bathroom had an extra stall, although really a tight squeeze for both.

It is a little neat place that just has it's own character that I surely can't describe to give it justice. Their beer is on the cheaper end, which will always win a piece of my heart. I really like the fact that they have two bathrooms... living as a female in this universe I have yet to completely understand what women are doing for so long in there.. so two bathrooms for a small place is dreamy. Also, the assortment of people that flock here is amazing to me - it isn't just one sort of crowd which keeps me entertained with enthusiasm. Always sure to meet someone interesting! Get lucky with snagging up a booth and be sure to invite me when it happens.

The is the best spot to hang out with friends and have a couple drinks on the weekends. Fridays are karaoke night and who doesn't love karaoke nights? Drinks here are crazy cheap! $4 for a stein of shock top and $3 for a watermelon mind eraser!! It gets pretty packed here on the weekends so you'll want to come a little early to get a table. All in all the atmosphere is great and the bartenders are great! This has been my go to bar for the last few months and I have never been disappointed. C2U is the best!
