Don’t you ever wish it were socially acceptable to have your weekly brainstorming session over a cold foamy beer? It’s not as unheard of as you may think, and there’s at least one part of the world that’s embracing day drinking. That place is the UK. Day drinking is socially acceptable while at work.

I’ve had the privilege of spending quite a lot of time in England, and one of those age-old traditions that rubbed off on me was day drinking at lunch time. Isn’t one drink pretty harmless?

Now, there’s not a doubt in my mind that there are just as many short-term reasons not to day drink at lunch. But for those of us playing the long game - Here are 6 healthy reasons why a mid-daydrink would help us improve our long-term health and help you get ahead at work.
